Q. How Much!!!! ?
A. What's a fiver buy you nowadays? A couple of pints? These are the same prices that were charged in 2000. How's that for zero inflation Mr Brown?
Q. Is this show just for classic bikes?
A. No, the show features all types of bikes from ancient to ultra modern.
Q. Why do I have to pay £5 to bring my bike when spectators get in for only half that?
A. £5 not only gets you entry into the Show, with the chance to win a trophy, but
unlike other shows, it also allows you the unique experience of riding your bike
round the circuit. O.K. it's not a track-
Q. What about safety?
A. There are numerous track safety personnel stationed around the circuit and St John Ambulance are in attendance all day.
Q. How many laps will I be able to do?
A. There is no set number. Each class goes out for it’s own track session so that bikes of similar age and type are on the track together. When all classes have paraded then subsequent sessions are ‘open class’. At the 2008 Show everyone got plenty of track time.
Q. I run a small business building turbochargers for CG125's, could I bring my stand to the show?
A. There are a limited number of spaces for Organisations and Trade stands and they are going fast, so contact Ian on 01226765432 or email iantheed@yahoo.co.uk
Q. Will I be able to get some snap at the show?
A. Yes, food & drinks will be available at reasonable prices. Catering facilities have been much improved for this year.
Q. Will I be able to have a race with my mate on his GSXR 1127 ?
A. No. You will both be able to ride your bikes round the track to show them off but racing is not permitted.
Q. I ride a 1985 GPZ550 on the road, will I be able to do a few laps on it?
A. Yes. Enter it in the 1980's class.
Q. The can dropped off my Gold Star but it goes better without it. Will I be O.K. for a few laps?
A. No. Sorry can't hear you for the noise!
Q. I’m a steady rider and I’m a bit worried about riding on the track.
A. Don’t worry, everyone goes at their own speed, it’s not a race but it’s still great fun.
